A little bit of Star Academy at Skywalker Ranch! #cuerockstar

Lucas Valley - Marin County

In case you were wondering where I was Thursday and Friday, I was a presenter at the very first CUE Rockstar Camp for Administrators. It was held at the beautiful Skywalker Ranch in Marin County and I was honored to work and connect with about 90 school leaders including superintendents, principals, assistant principals, and directors. Here are the sessions I led over the three days:

I do want to say that although it's fun to get away and it really recharges my batteries to get to teach and learn with grownups, I really miss our school and the kids! I also try to be all in where ever I am, and don't usually check my work email during the day...but I am typically on Twitter! Can I just tell you how much I loved seeing the tweets come out of Star on Thursday and Friday? TK at Fairytale Town, Star in Motion, 2nd grade at the library, and paper mache art all popped up on my Tweetdeck and made me smile! I hope you also know that where ever I go, I'm mostly talking about our school, the teachers, the families and kids who make Star so awesome! It's always fun to bring a little bit of Star with me. Here are some moments from my three days away:

Bringing Star to Skywalker? Yes!

And... this happened!
Check out these school principals, superintendents, and directors getting down and doing the Dino Stomp! Have a great week!

As part of the last day, we also got a little hero inspiration from Kid President. Enjoy!
